We Quit Cigarettes

You are way more productive than me today! I haven't been to the library in ages.

I did the walking the dogs thing but need to wait for my son to get home to walk Sable. I don't trust the other 2 alone together.
I made banana nut muffins for hubs to take to work tomorrow. To many evil carbs for me but dang they smell good.
Now to clean up the mess and throw together some peanut butter cookies.

I try to go to the library at least once a week.
They just warned me that they got a huge donation in this week that they are sorting through now and will be putting out for sale soon.
I can't wait. I'll be checking back daily until I see them.

They usually sell paperbacks for 50 cents and hardbacks for a dollar but sometimes I get lucky and they give them to me cheaper since I'm a regular, I guess.

Oh gosh, don't kiss your tomato plants, they're from the nightshade family. The foliage can be harmful to humans and pets; their leaves contain toxins...alkaloids.

Oh gosh, don't kiss your tomato plants, they're from the nightshade family. The foliage can be harmful to humans and pets; their leaves contain toxins...alkaloids.

The chickens grew cherry tomatoes in the chicken run a couple years ago. I put cages around them and got beautiful foliage and fruit. At the first cold snap, something changed and the chickens stripped all the leaves they could reach. All of them lived. I thought it was interesting. No clue why. Something like the brassicas getting sweeter with cold weather?

That's not very nice Wickie Wick.

He was never a person you could force to do anything, much less make him wear a costume he didn't want to wear. He asked. And being that it was only a king-sized flat sheet to begin with...it was a very affordable costume for that year. Unfortunately, I didn't get my Jedi costume done, so I went as the Grim Reaper.

However, I love Star Wars. Always have, always will.
Nothing nerdy bout it.
