No. Al my family is in TN. Thank goodness. I'd hate for someone to drop in to check on me. I'm all stocked up on cigarettes and sweet tea! That's all I need right now. And I've been keeping busy reading this thread since 9:00pm last night. Keeping my mind busy and that's a good thing. Thanks for asking.

I so admire your courage and honesty. I just can't stop reading. You are one amazing lady! I hope to be there with you some day. It'll be a while though, I'm going through my own hell at the moment. Don't have any idea how long it will last. Thanks for starting this thread. I need it right now. It's helping me cope a little better.

@webbysmeme This is the place to come to find your courage and be honest, no judgement (or very little ). You can talk about your own private hell, we all have ours too. You can always PM someone to air your private hell as well. This is a great group to be involved with. Lots of caring and knowledge. Welcome from an old New Orleans girl.

I am. And I fried me a T-bone and French fries for dinner. Giving it to my dogs, sounded good but the smell of it cooking did it for me!

I agree, there should be someone at least checking on you for medical reasons. You are doing a lot at once,and should be very proud of yourself. Excepting help is not a sign of weakness, it shows strength and self awareness. We are all here for you.

My husband is staying in town. I can call him if I need anything. He's bringing dog food and stuff tomorrow afternoon. He won't leave me alone. I told him to but he won't. He takes my eggs to the guys he works with, so he'll be back on Friday to pick them up.

I am glad your husband will be around, just in case you need medical help with all you are going thru. It's really important to have someone you can rely on in this type of situation, and for you not to be alone most of the time. Not trying to be a know it all, just an RN who is concerned.

I know, it's impossible for us not to go into nurse mode when others are involved. Even retired, a nurse is always a nurse! We're all here for you webby.

Hope your fam is safe after all of the storms?! My husband and his fam are all from TN, too.
I got off perscription sleeping pills thanks to this thread, some nights are better than others, but the feeling of being free from those nasty chemicals in my body is worth it! Swollen knees gone, amongst other issues. Don't be in fear, have faith that if it's the right thing, you can do it! God bless
