We Quit Cigarettes

:frow. UPDATED...Today is day 17! March 5th
I can do it.

Me: :barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie

I decided last month that I was going to try to do something I've never done before, quit smoking.

I knew I couldn't do it on my own so I got some medicine called Chantix. I tried Chantix about 10 years ago but I did not take it for the correct amount of time...I quit smoking but started back up after 3 months. I also do not remember it being this hard to quit back then.

I've been so worried about the side effects (I had one bad side effects last time) that I was not thinking about how hard today was going to be.

I have been on the medicine for a week with no bothersome side effects...that I was a nervous wreck about.

I have not smoked today and I really don't want to but geez I want to.:barnie:barnie:barnie
💪🐣You really don't want to or you wouldn't be quitting! You've done the hardest part. WOW 17 days!!! Time to spoil yourself with something fun, maybe a new bird or 2? Ha Ha Ha

Today is actually day 20 I need to update that first post.

Sorry, but I doubt that. It's defective - throw it away - 'mental dullness' is not a viable excuse for you, James. :p
I believe the construct measured on the MMPI for "mental dullness" may have to do more with depression than anything else, as on the test it is a subscale under depression, and there is this definition: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/medgen/737460

Also, here is a description of the Mental Dullness scale, which I found here:

They're legitness.
No. Seriously, no. I'm not saying they can't be useful in the hands of a competent professional, but what we're doing here is recreational and TBH, we'd be better off taking a walk or a bike ride, looking at chickens or the stars, snow skiing, climbing a big rock... oh anything really, other than navel-gazing online--preferably outdoors in the sun.

But I wanna feel like a professional
