Yes you can eat their eggs. They have bigger yolks. My husband says he prefers them because there's enough yolk to dip your toast in and sausage.I've only had chickens for two years. I'm thinking about getting some chicks. But then I would worry about adding them to the others. I've never known anyone with ducks. Can you eat their eggs?I could build them a coop of their own.
Ours have their own coop, they just don't go in it because they're so close to the chickens. They're just one big flock and the chickens love having the ducks around.
The ducks have been with them since they've been about 3 weeks old. The chickens took care of them and took them in as their own. Then one day they had the ducks go in their coop instead of their own. The rooster snuggles with them
