Oh boy..... sorry to derail the thread again.

Collection isn't my strong point, I haven't been taught to do it. I know the basic procedure (bull breeds a fake cow and you get the semen after, or sometimes electroejaculation but that method can harm sperm motility). Semen mixed with stuff and put into straws then stored in liquid nitrogen tank.

Cindy, the A.I. isn't difficult at all if you have a good chute or headgate or restraint method. The equipment isn't dirt cheap, but it isn't out of financial reach either. Probably be able to buy the equipment for around what it costs to feed a bull for a year or 2.
