We Quit Cigarettes

I just listened to a Whil video while I rode my bike for give minutes.
I am really becoming a believer in this whole training your brain to think differently.

The video I watched was called...the Neuroscience of mindfulness.
I'm going to see if it happens to be on the tube.

I would DIE!
I have celery cut up and sunflower seeds in the shell available. No chips or beans allowed.
There is peanut butter here too.
I only ate abot ten..then got on my bike.

Awesome!! That stuff really does work!! And there’s tons more info on Mindfulness and meditation and stuff online if you want to delve into that haha Headspace is a really good app too but it seems like yours is great! Though it says it’s only available to professionals and not direct to individuals yet. :(
 
I'm really trying to focus on this minute...I waste too much time worrying about what if.

I think this might be one of the reasons I actually decided to quit smoking.

I'm just checking to make sure Kiki is still living and not on the news for harming someone. Hope everyone is doing good with their quitting or thinking about quitting.

I'm off to lose myself in a book. It's cold and supposedly we are getting the dreadful S word later today 🙈 I'm a hermit till it warms up

Wish you the best on quitting smoking. I think food addiction is one of the worst addictions. Mostly sugar addiction. That’s what I’m trying to quit. Isn’t it funny I’ve never been addicted to smoking or drinking but sugar and food is another story.

Things to do in 10 minutes:

  • listen to a short podcast
  • dance party
  • clean the toilets
  • vacuum a room
  • check on the chickens and quails and bring them a treat
  • dishes
  • fold laundry
  • windex some windows
  • some sort of daily meditation, there are lots of apps and youtube videos for this
  • stretch (I love 10 minute yoga videos on youtube to target a specific body part)
  • look at pinterest
  • buy something useless on amazon
  • write a real letter/card for someone
  • come up with a list of things to do for 10 minutes
  • give a dog or child a bath (which will inevitably turn into more time)
  • attempt to cut your own hair
  • or attempt to dye your own hair
In a week your house will be spotless! And you'll have replaced a bad habit with a good cleaning one!
