We Quit Cigarettes

I learned it when I first went vegan because I really like tuna, but like you said it has way too much sodium.

I just bought some sweet and spicy pickles but I have not tried them yet. I put the bread and butter pickles in... I got the ones that have no sugar and other additives.

Yeah, it grossed me out when I read it a few months ago and saw all the salt and additives lol

Regular tuna would probably work but a bit expensive to use for tuna salad haha

I usually put relish in. And craisins. And of course lots of mayo. Never tried regular pickles in it. I LOVE bread and butter pickles though. :love

That sounds delicious!! :love

I usually just put mayo in. Tons and tons of mayo.

I wonder if my chipotle lime mayo that I have would be any good in it..... 🤔

But of course now I have lunch for today. Maybe tomorrow haha

I bet it’d be good and add a bit of a kick. :D

Oh and sometimes, usually actually, I put relish and/or craisins in and love both but we are currently out of both :hit
I really like putting celery in with it. I just don't have any right now and sometimes I'll put red onions.

There is one of the recipes that I have used, but I don't use any type of mayo with mine because I just like mustard. Usually when I use a recipe I just make it my own way.

It's so weird to explain, but when you eat this if you close your eyes you would swear it was tuna. I tricked my husband one day because I told him to close his eyes and try it and he told me that it tasted just like tuna, but he knows I don't eat tuna.

I do that to him all the time I make him try something with his eyes closed and he always says what it is but he knows I don't eat meat or anything like that.

Wow that’s awesome! I’m gonna try it I think and see for myself haha

My favorite pickles are Wickles Pickles. They are a pickle that comes from New Hampshire and we can find them in our stores down here.

Even though we have found a pickle guy in Virginia who makes the best bourbon pickles ever. We ate the whole jar in 2 days!

I always make an abundance of food so that I can have food for the week. I used to think those people who prep their meals for a week were crazy, but once I started doing it I realized why they do it. They have to put zero thought into what they are eating for the day and when they are hungry they can just grab it.

Tonight I'm making the family a pork butt in the instant pot. I'm going to make balsamic vinegar roasted potatoes in the oven as a side. I'll eat the roasted potatoes and probably some other things that I make on the side. I think I might add carrots with the potatoes too because balsamic carrots are the bomb.

Yeah, I was thinking about recently and realized it’s really practically no more effort to just make more at the same time.

And that sounds soooo good OMG. Those veggies sound amazing. :love :drool

It's so weird to explain but when you mash it with a fork you will see it just flakes like tuna. When you put it in your mouth with your eyes closed you really can't tell. It's so weird how these vegan people have figured out these ways to eat stuff that's vegan, but it represents something not vegan.

We get these veggie meat crumbles that are vegan and I always put that in the chili and everyone who has ever eaten my chili thinks that it's hamburger. It takes your mind on a trip. Usually when people are done eating it I tell them that they just ate vegan meat and they tell me that I'm lying 😂

I’ve never tried celery in it. But I probably wouldn’t like it unless the celery was chopped really small just because it’s so chewy haha and I hate raw onions :sick but like cooked onions oddly lol

I don’t think I have ever heard of that kind but now I will be on the hunt. :lau

I made balsamic carrots onions and potatoes the other day in the instant pot and there was none left. I don't know what's happened to my cooking in the past week or so, I guess it's probably cause I hadn't cooked for a few weeks. My cooking has gotten better 😂 It wasn't horrible before or anything and everybody loved my food before but now everyone says that I watch too much Bobby Flay 😂
