We Quit Cigarettes

Are you aware that for some people, the risks of blood clots can increase? Not trying to frighten you...just bringing this to your attention so you can be informed. My husband has had 2 pulmonary embolisms, each after arthroscopic knee surgery like yours. But he's also survived an arterial clot as well so he is more susceptible to developing clots.

I didn't know that. It's always a good thing to be informed though so I appreciate you mentioning it. I don't know if it makes a difference or not but I just had an arterial scan (not sure that is what it is actually called) a couple months ago. I did it with my hubby because it didn't cost much and I was curious. Embolisms terrify me. You just never know with them. Anyway, my hubby showed some minor blockages (very minor but warrants monitoring and adjusting his diet) and I showed zero, which made me feel good. :wee It probably has nothing to do with it but is my only experience that I have to go by, if that makes sense. My biggest concern with any surgery is that my dad was diagnosed with Malignant Hyperthermia, which is a condition where you can have a reaction to anesthesia. And it is hereditary (50/50 chance). So I have to let people know so they can be prepared.

Wick is the good witch of the north. She knows things.

Hey @Kiki what’s for lunch today? :drool
It's not that time yet but it will be a salad with some Mahi-mahi.

I've had to start forcing breakfast (I am not a morning eater) because of the morning pill.
Breakfast was a peanut butter sandwich with a chugged protein shake.
