We Quit Cigarettes

I quit smoking a long time ago. I do not miss it. I do not think about it. It can be different for everyone regardless of whether being male or female.
There is scientific proof that quitting is harder for women in most cases. That being said, regardless, @Kiki and the others who are following suit are to be commended and we should all continue to support them!!! Great job Y'all :thumbsup

Now y'all have me thinking about quitting again :th My Doctor said he quit 12 or 13 times before it took, don't worry about backsliding, just keep moving forward.
I haven't counted how many times I have tried to quit. But I did add up how much money I spend a year and am too horrified to say how much. When I am finished with the carton I have (Yes, I buy by the carton), I may join you. I would like to be smoke free, and if I am successful, I will be a non smoker (like I was when I was 13). My addiction isn't to nicotine, I am addicted emotionally to the cigarettes. Long story, however that's my case.

Have you ever tried Chantix?

Have you ever tried Chantix?
Yes, a number of times, it worked great the frist time, and then there was something worrisome going on, and I backslid. I tried again, with Chantix, and would recommend it to anyone as a helper. However I tried so many times with Chantix that I became immune, I can take Chantix and smoke with out problem for months. It used to make me vomit after a couple of weeks, and I hate to vomit. It doesn't do that anymore. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
I think Chantix is the best anti smoking product on the market. Just okay it with your MD, I know you need a 'script to get it. But have an honest talk with your Doc.
