We Quit Cigarettes

Now y'all have me thinking about quitting again :th My Doctor said he quit 12 or 13 times before it took, don't worry about backsliding, just keep moving forward.
I haven't counted how many times I have tried to quit. But I did add up how much money I spend a year and am too horrified to say how much. When I am finished with the carton I have (Yes, I buy by the carton), I may join you. I would like to be smoke free, and if I am successful, I will be a non smoker (like I was when I was 13). My addiction isn't to nicotine, I am addicted emotionally to the cigarettes. Long story, however that's my case.
Throw them in the shredder now. A moment on the tongue, a lifetime in the lung. Pitch them. How much money will you save by smoking them? The life you save, though, will be your own.

Mid afternoon of day 3. I really just want the day to be finished already, lots of crave thoughts happening.
You can do it, Shannon. It's your primitive brain lying to you. Not real--you don't need them and smoking one will never satisfy your lying brain for long. Deep breaths, pay attention to where you are and what you are doing. Praying for you. 🙏
