We Quit Cigarettes

Schools closed for the next 6 weeks. Man, I feel bad for working parents.
No kidding!! Michigan schools are all closed until Apr 5.
Everyone's talking about the kids who get their b'fast and lunch at school,
but what about childcare for working parents.
Ran errands this morning....yup, all the cheap TP is gone, even in our rural area.

And it is a prime number.

Thank you for sharing the story. Interesting approach and it obviously worked. Anyone know why 13 is considered unlucky? Or why 13 is a "baker's dozen"?
Thirteen is reputedly the number of witches required to make up a coven.

As for the baker's dozen, it used to be the practice of most bakers to show their generosity by throwing in an extra roll if you bought a dozen.

DH always claims Fri 13 as his lucky day. 😂 Not for any real reason--mainly because he thinks the superstition is silly. I pay it no mind at all.

Yipes. I hadn't thought about the food thing, but it'll be a heck of an added expense for most parents. My employers are offering employees with slightly older children to bring them to work. We've already got nine office dogs, why not add some brats?

You won't be able to tell the difference. It'll be fine.

Yesterday when I went to the grocery store most of the people had kids and full carts of food. These parents I bet are scrambling to find people to watch their kids so they can work.
