We Quit Cigarettes

NY, Pa, NJ - shutdown, and I'm betting Conn. will be next. The Princess and I were going to go visit the ocean tomorrow. I figured there would be a shutdown, but anticipated Sunday night. Thankfully we like one another. Beagle club is .4 miles away, and I will venture there as no one else will be present. I have enough feed for at least 6 weeks, and we can probably stretch the human food that long.

Nobody will see my Christmas lights, and we are not going out to check on the rest of the world tonight. :hmm

@Kiki said that I am a nutter, and I wanted to see if there were any kindred spirits.

The shutdown stuff is oppressive, sorry to hear it @sourland
On the bright side.... I haven't had to do any homework in days, or deal with anyone's BS, and I got some yard work done today, mowed grass, got some more onion sets planted in garden (succession plantings). I have also baked some amazing homemade bread and have jalapeno poppers cooking now. Bacon wrapped.

I could get used to this social distancing stuff.

Well, we keep Christmas lights along the banister of our stairs all year long. It's been years since the stairs were bare of lights.
We don't put anything outside during the Christmas season -- we decorate the tree and put up some other decorations around the house, but there's nothing outside.
It's not the same as having the whole shebang up, but with the lights around the banister rails on the stairs, even out of season,, I guess that we're a tad alike, @sourland.
