We Quit Cigarettes

Could a shell from a previous hatched chick been jostled to "spoon" the unhatched egg and then dried in place? I've had that happen on some of my hatches, but usually only one half of a shell not both. Was there residue from hatching on the inside of the outer shell's membrane? Did the number of shells (including the double shell) removed equal the number of chicks?
No, he clearly stated that he removes all empty shells whenever he removes a chick. I thought it was the only remaining egg that had not yet hatched.

While it is rare there have been reports and photos of an egg that has both an inner and outer shell. Whether it is just a glitch or an inherited problem is unknown.

Hey, guys! Today's another day, and another chance to stop smoking, drinking, taking drugs, and so forth -- whatever problems and demons you're facing, today's another chance to fight back and win! So do your best and don't give up.
Remember, too, that there's no shame in slipping -- it happens to us all, quitters or not, we slip. When that happens, pick yourself back up, and keep moving forward!
Good luck to you all! You can do this! Storms clear, wounds heal, and struggles fade as you keep moving forward. Don't get caught up in your mistakes -- learn from them, and use the lessons learned to better avoid mistakes in the future.
One step at a time, one hour at a time, one day at a time. Keep it up!
