I've been there on not planning ahead for meals. It can be hard when you don't go shopping all the time, there's always something I forget it seems. Glad your day was enjoyable though, and hope the weather clears up for you soon!

So, this is "not yo Mama's Hummus".
Start with Kroger manager specials sale price SABRA (smirks & winks at the self proclaimed snob) as the base. This batch is 'roasted red pepper' flavor.
Add in at least a tsp of turmeric powder, this time was like ~2+ tsp.
A tsp plus of minced garlic
Equal part salsa (pace medium chunky salsa) to hummus
This picture is actually that batch mixed into Sabra "taco inspired flavor" also a mgr special sale with the Sam's club mild chunky salsa added as equal part to the hummus mix in the bowl.

YMMV

I have taken a liking to the Kroger 'kick of lime' flavored tortillas but, it's all good.

We had meatballs and pasta, all made from scratch (except the pasta). It was an all day affair, with a dessert of berries and whipped cream. Not real fancy, but enjoyed by all. The BF was here all day, he brought DD a Godiva solid chocolate bunny and a few other candies, she was thrilled. She made him a hand stitched, stuffed character. They both seemed happy.
DH had to go to work tonight, but all in all it was a good day.

Yeah, they have become my go-to flavor of chips. They have 'just enough lime' tingle to the bite.

Tonight I'm adding avacado too..... Should of done this before.
