if you go back to the beginning of this thread, you can see her initial journey. If I remember correctly, she was also concerned about possible side effects but had zero issues.

Yes I used it with no side effects. Well that is besides the twitching of the left leg. Like anything else they need to want to quit also.

A co-worker of mine tried Chantix. He quit smoking, but started having homicidal thoughts...he quit the Chantix and bought a pack of Marlboros.
My dad quit smoking after 30 yrs using Chantix and didn't have a problem. Seems (like most drugs) to depend on the person. Do your parents have any Mental Illness? Either way it is worth keeping an eye on.

I wanted to quit.
The wanting to quit makes the difference.
I could not have quit without Chantix.
I tried Chantix before when I didn't really want to quit and it didn't work.

I would take Chantix again in a heartbeat to quit but thankfully I'll never have to because I WILL NEVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE.
