I did not read the directions when I got it.
I used the scoop to scoop up some coffee and dump it into the filter.

Not until I was told that that was also part of the filter did I start using it correctly... But it worked perfectly fine my way too.

My k-cups go in my compost pile.

My kcups are compostable also.

I still buy them even tho I use a French press because there’s zero plastic waste.

you sound like you drink coffe like me!!! i make at least a full pot each morning and have 3-4 cups.....if DS2 gets into it, i sometimes have to brew an additional half-full pot

I drink two cups when I wake up. (18 Oz mugs)
A 20 Oz travel cup going to work. 40 Oz thermos is empty when I get home.

I have no problems......
