We Quit Cigarettes

💪 Best decision ever.
20+ years for me. Dang. I had to do the math and ended up surprising myself. Can't say which date though. I quit so many times. It's true that the more often you attempt to quit, the greater success will be that you will stay stopped when you finally do. But I know it's in the warm part of 2004 and I've stayed stopped since then! 😄

I’m so proud of you all. My mom made that journey of quitting (she was almost up to three packs a day still smoked during her pregnancies, but in her defense, it wasn’t seen as a big deal in the 70s and 80s ) when she found out I was smoking when I was 16 years old and I’m sure you can tell by my username that was quite a while ago. I need to make that journey myself. My daughter is 23 so I’m sure she appreciate her mom being around for a while longer

I was pregnant 23 yrs ago. Keep saying I will after “ whatever life stress is going on” (i’m sure that sounds familiar to a lot of people ) but I start my new hopefully less stressful job next Monday, which hopefully will enable me too convince myself to focus on that other than work and work and work and more work 7 days a week
