So we live in a suburban environment, and had two White Chinese Geese. Their names were Daisy and Oliver and I have been truly upset because we sold our geese. They were hatched June 3, 2020, so we had them for some months for sure and they imprinted to us, but it was just difficult since we live in a neighborhood. We plan on moving though where there is some land and I want to get some more future geese, I honestly didn’t know I could miss them so much. I’m really going to miss those morning honks and them flapping in their pool, and holding them. I do think moving with them definitely would have been difficult but hopefully we can move to some place with acreage and get some more geese. Any tips on how to cope with that feeling of not being in control? I just feel like I can’t do anything about it since they are gone now. Any tips on how to deal with missing them? They went to a great home with a lady who has 20 acres and four other geese so I know they are going to be a good addition. I just really miss them. It’s been since Monday without them, and it feels more empty. I miss my babies.
