We survived!

The hens and I survived the worst winds Ireland has ever had, the wind speeds were 180 km/h, everything was tied down and safe but the only damage was the glass house, it lost a lot of panes of glass. Lots of trees fell but we're all OK thankfully.

Fairly mild down here in Bristol compared to Ireland and North UK. Greenhouse had the panes blown out in the last storm so not a lot for the wind to grip.
Chickens are not impressed with the wind.

glad to hear it; the forecasts for Ireland were horrendous, and it sounds like it was challenging; glad to know you are all OK, and just faced with a big clear up.

Still lots of fallen trees around here from Darragh; the clear up proceeds slowly. Eowyn was less severe for us, just yellow warning; disturbed noisy night, but everything that should be standing still is, and the chickens find shelter from the wind in the borders.
