Weak Chicks

I have had all of the same breed of chicks I bought from the farm supply die. They were smaller than the other chicks and didn't have great weight gain. Could they just be weak chicks or should I worry about other things? Should I ask for a refund (they all died within a week)?

Can you give us more information?

How old were they? What, if any kind of symptoms did they have?

They were "black production", which I figure were black stars. They all seemed pretty tiny - smaller than the Ameraucanas that were the same age and from the same hatchery. All were lying on the floor of the brooder one morning, but I was able to revive one, but she died three days later. No symptoms, just smaller than rest and not feathering out like they should be for 1.5 week olds. Looked like they only were three or four days old according to feather growth on wings.
