So yesterday i notice one of my hens is sitting all day. I can get close to pick them up but they do try to run. she didnt budge. I picked her up today. She is alert and is eating what she can get thats in front of her. She seems light weighted and weak .Laying kinda side tilted in the sun. They have plenty of food and water a 5 gallon. They get snacks. Her comb is pink. Usually they are all red. I see no bugs. She did just molt a little on her chest. It is growing back. She is the only one who is like this out of 12. Should I separate her? None of the other hens are bothering her. I went out and put a waterer next to her and hand fed her some food. I will do that and see if she perks up. She is guzzling down water. Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE:she seems to be limping. maybe she ssd prained a leg. nothing seems broken.

How does her vent look, and has she laid recently? She looks like a production red, so I'd want to rule out a reproductive problem like egg binding.

Did her legs seem to work when you picked her up?
I just put her in the coop. She limped over to the corner. sprained leg maybe. Also I dont know if shes laying. Her vent looks a little swollen but I am by ko means an expert. I can recheck it tomorrow and compare it to others. I have 13 hens and got 7 eggs today.

does this look like frostbite? she was also molting a bit. shes not standing, just a bit here and there. I brought her inside to warm up. I think she may have been left outside the first night. At that point she wasn't getting around which i didnt know. So its not the main reason shes not walking. I have been researching and many illnesses and injuries have the same symptoms. Her feet are cold too. shes eating and drinking now.

Her comb does look pale. Can you offer her a vitamin supplement, like Poultry Nutri-Drench, ASAP (if you're not already)?

How cold was it outside when she may have been out?
it was a weird 50 degrees my hubby said. I do have vitamins i can give. I had put some in the waterer. I am currently giving corid in her water just in case. no other hen is like this. her right leg is not moving like her left one but there is feeling. shes just so weak and skinny. Poor girl.

If she was getting sick or weak from molting, and spent the night outside in the cold, that might have made her weaker. Check her crop and tell us if it is empty, full, hard, doughy, or puffy. Recheck it early in the morning to see if it has emptied overnight. Get some electrolytes with vitamins, or some Poultry Nutridrench into her. Keep her warm. Check her again under the vent and belly for any lice or mites. Pictures of any abnormal poops may help.

If you are using Corid, vitamins should not be given. I would probably get her drinking some electrolytes and vitamins, and then switch to Corid if you like. Mushy chicken feed with a lot of water and some egg should be offered.
