We have a he a hen (I don’t know what breed), about 3 years. She’s been very weak and lying down for awhile now. She’s been soaked in a warm bath with epsom salt to get rid of the gunk, then soaked her after being cleaned in a warm bath with epsom salt and apple cider vinegar. She was also gently massaged on her underside. She won’t drink or eat. She’s now been put in a dog kennel with a towel and some water but has done nothing. She just lays there with her eyes closed. Her breathing seems weak too.

Can you give her some Vitamins B complex and E? She looks very sick. How are her droppings and what is her diet? Has she been laying for about 3years?

She’s been laying for about 2 and a half years. They are given pellets, snacks maybe once a day (green peas, mixed greens, and meal worms every once and awhile) and they forage. I haven’t seen any droppings in awhile so I don’t know. How exactly do i go about giving her that?

You could either syringe them into her or put some yogurt on a spoon with the vitamins and let her eat it on her own. Being that weak, she will most likely not eat on her own.

here is what I use, just squeeze one of each capsule onto the yogurt☺️

Could you give some Electrolytes to her?

Try to syringe her at least 10-20 ml of the electrolytes right in her mouth.

Here is my recipe
Electrolytes :
4 cups water
1 TBSP Apple cider vinegar
1/2 + 1/4 tsp Molasses
1/4 tsp salt
mix together and keep in a cool dark place.
