This is the first time for us and the mama ducks to be hatching their own babies. Somehow two mama ducks got together and are raising three of the hatched babies. Today a fourth one showed up with them in the morning for a walk. However she was stumbling couldn't keep up and was falling all the time. They would walk ahead she would start crying and they would come back try to push her she would take couple steps and then she was down again trying to sleep. The mamas we're getting frustrated and started going further away from her. It almost seemed like she was keeping them behind of what was their morning walk for food and water. I took her in and gave her some water with electrolytes. Should I give her back to the mama or would she have a better chance of survival with us inside taking care of her. Thank you for any input this is our first time raising ducklings.

It will have a better chance with you .It sounds like you are off to a good start with it .But this may not be enogh and you may still lose it .But if it does live and is okay and its not away from it mother to long she will usally take it back .They are not all good mother some will let there young travel far and wide on there own
