Weapon suggestion

55 years ago stuff was made in America with pride now its made in China/Japan

I didn't say the LAST time I shot was 55 years ago.
That's just when I started.
The last time I shot a gun was this afternoon.

Most 22 ammo is still made here, just like it has been for well over 100 years.

I have a Mossberg Model 51M that has probably had close to 100,000 rounds through it since it was made, and it STILL shoots just fine.
The last time they built one was 1946.

That's a nice rifle!I really like that type of sights. They don't make them like that anymore unless you special order from Midway. BTW mine is a Remington 550-1. Nice and accurate old guns gotta love em.

I agree with Twentynine. That's the reason that I unsubscribed from this topic sometime back. Y'all need to dump some hormones, read the original post and answer the lady's question. Enough of this, "I killed a moose with a slingshot." stuff! Even if you did, IT WAS JUST PURE LUCK!

Hormones will do it everytime.

What more can I say. A .50 cal MG mounted on a halftrac, naugh, a little to much.

It just don't fit a lady with bad joints.

see this is what always happens when I take a mixed group shooting...

The guys get together and show off their guns and tell their stories and take turns shooting the biggest gun anyone brought...

and the girls get together and work on refining our skills, finding which gun fits each one best and they are most accurate with

yep, its the hormones.

it's why I specialize in teaching women... not that I don't like teaching men, I do, but women want, and thrive with, a different way of learning than men do. for the guys, it's about the GUN and usually the BIGGER gun. for the gals, it's about feeling safe, secure and competent with the smaller gun, and then working their way up, in a controlled manner.

in the end we all shoot mostly the same techinque, but the way of getting there is different.

mostly the guys on the thread are discussing the gun, from a woman's perspective, it's all about the shooter.
oh, wait, that's kinda true about everything between men and women isn't it?

Not exactly PC, but funny all the same.

How about one of these:

Or, if you insist on having multiple shots:

No recoil and a near miss would bring down that running dog with no problem, and no shoveling necessary. Some blotter paper is about all you'd need. Ammo's probably a bit expensive though.

Ha!
yep... I'm with ya there... love that multiple shot option

because, youknow.. what if I miss? or there's more than one? (looks around for blotter paper... hmm no, wonder if paper towels would do... )

clearly the neigbors are going to have to move their houses to the furthest edge of their property. it seems only prudent.

definitely won't find any PC around my place - and I don't fit the standard girl-type brain either, more of a guy brain, but hey it's good because I can act as a translator between the two species

unless, of course, my feelings are hurt, and then it's all girl...
