Necks are still intact, except the brahma.

Why are you trying to teach other people what a raccoon kill looks like? You had birds killed not me? You are the one looking for help. I’ve learned how to trap raccoons long before some guy put up a video on YouTube.
You make it extremely difficult to even bother trying to help.
Also that white bird wasn’t a white muff game.

So yours was a male? In all species of the muskeloid family the female is nearly half the size of the male.
Also after death with the rigimortis......a live animal is a lot more limber than a dead one. all i can think is about OJ trying to put on the gloves.
The last weasel i caught last fall was the size of a chipmunk. Thats a baby chick wired to the pan. He killed 3 adult birds, one of which was my broody, and her 3 chicks.

A picture tells the story of 1000 words... what size is the mesh that makes up your weasel trap?

No dog in the weasel vs raccoon fight... Since the weasel is the smaller of these two and could be the actual predator or is certainly a potential predator... if OP is looking for advice on preventing future attacks, would it make the most sense to fence to exclude weasels, since raccoons would also be prevented by such fencing? BTW, we recently set a trap for a bobcat, which we’d seen take a duck. What we caught was a raccoon, which we hadn’t had problems with. I agree that a trap can catch all sorts of potential predators without necessarily getting the most recent predator...

Okay. We'll have to see what we can do. I'll check out the video soon.
That video I posted is just how to build a Weasel Trap that only catches Weasels... its chicken proof and cat proof but a chick could get into it if you have any running around with a broody mama. I prefer a have a heart trap set at night but if you want one set 24/7 that chickens can not get into that video shows how to make them.
