Ok, my chickens are 20 weeks old and have not started laying yet, but its september. I was wondering if they will lay in the winter?
Will i get like 2 eggs and than they will stop once it gets too cold?

Mine (first chickens, 2006) were hatched in July (light brahmas) and started laying in Feb. It was REALLY cold and the eggs would freeze. They laid best in cooler temps and stopped when it got really hot out...

Now, depending on the breed, weather, time of day and wind (LOL just joking)--they will all lay differently...
