My dad has this cooling towel thing that you keep in the fridge when you're not using it. Then when you want to use it you run it under cold water, wring it out, snap it a few times, and it stays cold for a good 30 minutes to a couple hours depending on how hot it is outside. Great for summer walks and yardwork! I just drape it over the back of my neck, wipe my face with it when I get sweaty, snap it again when it starts losing the coldness. It's awesome.
I wish I could stand the texture of those things, I usually end up chomping down handfuls of ice until I can breathe again 😅

Idk how well that'd work here when it's 100F, sunny and humidity is 100%..... Nothing short of air-conditioning will help with that and if you gotta bike in that weather....

Are we talking about Fahrenheit or Celsius?
Pretty sure you might be dead if it was 98 Celsius lol

Ugh humidity is the worst. Maybe my problem is we have no ac so there's nothing to do but suffer when its hot, at least when the heat goes out I have a dog and blankets to keep me warm

I was born and raised in Michigan. I've spent most of my life here, maybe 5 years total out of state. I've always been a winter person. I'd spend hours in the snow as a kid. All day if I could get away with it. No idea how I never got frostbite! Especially because most of my winter clothes were hand-me-downs that weren't in the best condition anyway LOL. Most gloves had holes in them and soaked up snow like a sponge. Wet, cold hands in wet, cold gloves... Didn't stop me! Boots too! Cold wet feet in cold wet socks! And no matter how good a pair of snowpants you have, hours in the snow will leave you with wet legs and wet butt 🤣

I was born to live and die in the snow, I think.
