My avatar is a pic of my silkies at about 4 days old, if I remember correctly. They're 6 wks now.
The lighting issue is when the bulb comes on in the bator for heat - the cam just can't handle that much light and it washes out the picture. There's just not much I can do about that - thankfully it's not on that much.
When the heat bulb is off, the bator is lit up by a small brooder lamp with a 100 wt bulb that is suspended about 3 feet above the bator and is shining down through the glass on top.
Still no action.... and it's officially day 21 now at 9pm....sigh...
