Webcam in the bator...hatch done...cam in the brooder - Thanks all!

My avatar is a pic of my silkies at about 4 days old, if I remember correctly. They're 6 wks now.

The lighting issue is when the bulb comes on in the bator for heat - the cam just can't handle that much light and it washes out the picture. There's just not much I can do about that - thankfully it's not on that much.

When the heat bulb is off, the bator is lit up by a small brooder lamp with a 100 wt bulb that is suspended about 3 feet above the bator and is shining down through the glass on top.

Still no action.... and it's officially day 21 now at 9pm....sigh...

Well, I do have a Pip!! Its in the OTHER bator though... the one withOUT the cam in there.

AND, it's in the wrong end of the egg... hoping this guy can get out OK.

I do hear it chirping, so at least he's getting air.

Stay tuned....why oh WHY did I have to check the bator just before bedtime??

Well, I just got up, poured myself some coffee, todderred over to the computer, and first thing checked the chick-cam. I don't see anything, tho. Ill be sure to check it a lot today.

Got a pip and one trying to zip.

They are the ones just behind the water wriggler - one in the middle, and the one behind it to the right....
