I've had it for about 2 months. The temp is pretty accurate but the humidity is showing low.
Heres how I tested it.

Mine always shows low too! That is why i was worried about. Thanks for those links!

I calibrated my hygrometer last night and it is 11% off (shows lower)! That is alot. Could I have screwed it up some howor could it really be off that much?? I did just like the link said and I watching the video. I calibrated the themometer with my medical themometer and it is dead on.

It makes me mad because it won't tell me what % it just keeps saying low!! When i add water it says like 22% then goes to low. So how am I to know what to add the 11 to??? GRRRR

Cute chicks!

I'm curious as to how you set up the webcams and the webpage. At present, I have only had a webcam on my bater and view it through an AOL Instant Messenger chat session. I'd like to be able to go to a webpage and view it there - easier for sharing with people!

The easy way is here. http://www.ustream.tv

My way is more complicated. I run a webserver just for the website its self. Each camera is IP cameras. I run a reverse proxy server that take your request for the video, forwardes it to the cameras an then back threw to you. I then have a third computer that takes all results an forwards them ether to the webserver or the proxy server. That is just to make it hard for someone to hack.

This weeks hatch has started. Several pips already. Mostly RIRs I got locally. Little mad at my self. I dropped an culled an egg...

Hey, I just watched your thermometer calibration video and decided to give it a try on mine. I have 3 fever thermometers. The readings that I got suggest that my "inside" temp was reading consistently 3.5 degrees low while my "outside" temp was reading 1 degree low. Therefore, when I thought my eggs were at 100-101 they were really 101-103 or more. Thank you so much for doing this video. I've had 2 bad hatches and I'm sure that temp has something to do with it.
