Hello all , one of our hens looks as if the gardner caught her across the throat with a weed waacker as there is a swath of feathers about 4 inches long cut straight half way to the feather base parallel to the graound thankfully no injuries . Will the feathers grow out of their own accord or do I need to do something .? Other than that shes fine happy and laying ,doent look like an animal attack as its a clean sheer Tks

They should grow on out. If not they will fall out and new ones will replace them!!=)
