WEEEE I am so excited chicks are hatching! Not due til the 4th!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!! I have had bad hatches this year so a BYCer installed fans on both my bators for me

and On June 13th I set
13 brown leghorn eggs that I got off ebay! These eggs were shipped!
I candled them last night as I was putting them back in the bator, out of 13 eggs 9 developed and 4 were clear. I tossed the clears out and put the 9 back in, added the hot water to raise humidity and closed the bator. This morning dh & I left for the day! We got home around 9:15pm, I locked up my coops & collected eggs and came back in to find.........................................
2 hatched chicks, 2 eggs rocking & another egg pipped

and they aren't due til Saturday the 4th! WOW!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes!!!! So far it looks as if I will have an awesome hatch rate!!! I am amazed at how early they are hatching especially for shipped eggs

I have NEVER had a hatch start off this well. Please send your vibes that all gos well, I am so excited that I had to share & hope that I am not jinking anything

mine were due on the 5th and they are hatching too!! well...pipping...but OMG!

Mine came today, a day late, but nice and strong.

Sometimes they hatch early if the temp has been too high.

Good luck for the remainder of the eggs... sounds like you will do well.

the temps have stayed at 100 the entire time, this isn't too high is it?
