Hi,
Thatnks for the input.
They are lovely ducks in those pics.
I took her back to the farm where I got her to compare her to other ducklings from her batch.
Here's what I noticed:
1) The ankles on some of the other ducks were huge...like small trex's. a good 5mm+ thinker at the bases.
2) The large ankle ducks stood with a wide stance...legs almost going outwards instead of stright down
3) The larger ducks were almost completely feathered...but not a sniff of any wing weathers, let alone flight feathers...not even small spikes where they start. nothing.
4) It's amazing how little time it takes to tame a duck...those ducklings thought I wanted them for dinner.
So my little ducky has much thinner ankles, is smaller, has feathers coming through on her wings and she isn't feathered yet and she stands with a very narrow stance where her feet overlap.
I'll post week 7 in a few days time.
cheers,
Woka
