Edit to ask, is that a single comb? Can't see too well on my phone.

Yeah, she has a single comb. I have a dark brahma chick and she’s way darker than this mystery girl anyways.

Dorkings have white skin, white feet. Colors can be deceptive in pictures, but looks like your chick has yellow or green feet.

Yeah, doesn’t look white right now at all. It’s more of a greyish yellow, but I know their leg color can change as they get older. I don’t know, I think it’s just a big waiting game at this point. She should be making it clearer in the next few weeks.

Okay, mystery chick is 3 weeks old today and I still have no idea what she is. I am, however, thinking she’s definitely a cross? Maybe a legbar cross? Who knows, but I’m naming her Misty.

Looks like a Lakeshore Egger (which is a Legbar cross).

I don’t know, none of the pictures in the reviews of the lakeshore eggers look like her. They’re all more of a light brown or yellowish cream. She seems too dark, but I guess we’ll know for sure if she gets a crest.

Misty definitely looks like some kind of legbar or legbar mix ( probably the latter, an olive egger from the legbar breeding program Meyer has ). She’s getting the salmon colored chest. Hopefully this means she’ll have a crest.
