Week old chick sick? *new video update*

Im using medicated chick starter with amprolium, do I need more than that?
Medicated feed is no guarantee that they won't get coccidiosis and it sure won't treat it. If your feedstore has the liquid Corid, get it instead of the powder. What does it's poop look like?

Mushy chick disease develops inside the egg as the chick develops. Chicks once born stagger about and look sleepy. They will be reluctant to move and stay under the heat source. Mortality follows with the worst of it occurring within the first couple of days of the chicks life. Chicks that survive the first few days will usually never be as strong or healthy as the rest of the flock.

We lost one of the chicks, not the one in the video. The chick in the video just pooped on me and it was the most fowl smelling poop ever. It was very mucousy and blood tinged. I think you are right about the cocci.

I thought I was doing a good job keeping the brooder clean. They get a complete bedding, food and water change every morning. The brooder is very well ventilated and huge, so it's definitely not over crowded.

Corid 20% (amprrollium) dosage for liquid is 2 tsp per gallon of water, or for powder-1 1/2 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. Then give some chick vitamins and probiotics in their water for a week. I would wait 3 weeks after treatment, and give a 1/3 dose treatment of Corid (preventative) for 5 more days. Here is a good link on coccidiosis: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/12/coccidiosis-what-backyard-chicken.html

Thank you. I will get the Corid tomorrow and hopefully get everyone treated in time. As of right now there are no other chicks acting strange or ill. Fingers crossed. This is the first time we've ever dealt with cocci.
