Advise!!! What should i do to get rid of this? (See picture)its been 2 days and im cleaning his/her bum several times a day by running under warm water and also using a qtip soaked in water and gently letting it kind of moisten the area. Its almost like he/she is constipated! It will stick its feathers out and drop its butt and chirp three LOUD cries and just a little poo comes out but doesnt leave its butt!!!!

Chick is about 2 weeks old, other 5 chicks arent having a poo issue. They eat the same chick startee as the chicks from tsc and also use the same bedding. The poo butt is getting better but chick is still struggling to go.. Is really pushing and ita vent swells up as if a marble was going to come out, but nothing does ive been cleaning its bum after every poo try.

Just keep making sure the vent is clear a few times a day. Pasty butt is a common chick ailment, but can be fatal if you don't keep the vent clear. It's usually caused by being too hot, too cold, too crowded, or stress during transit. Try to reduce stress as much as possible by keeping the brooder in a quiet, dark place and make sure the heat lamp isn't too close or to far and that the chicks all have plenty of room to move around and be chicks.

Is it typical for chicks to really strain to poo? Like i said, really nothing is coming out, when it does it just sticks to its butt. Is there anything differenr i should do?

Dark quiet area? Ill try to move them, maybe its time for thd kiddie pool.
