They do! Twiggy is more enamored with Myrtle than vice versa, but it's been good.

Another update!

Myrtle is fantastic! For a chicken the vet gave a poor prognosis and recommended euthanasia, she is thriving! I'm building her a "special needs" coop for her and her companion, Twiggy. Should be done soon! Just waiting for the heat wave to end.

Love this girl! I find it hilarious that her poof is so big now that you can't see that she's missing an eye, anyway.

I work for an eye doctor. It looks like she has preseptal cellulitis. It's pretty swollen because of the cellulitis. Typically that is a secondary infection to trauma or infection. It is an infection of the tissues around your orbital.
