, i have 18 musovi ducklings that are a week old and already swimming with their two mothers, i am asking 4 bucks a peice , im also only selling 16, i wanna keep a couple to watch them grow
I believe the muscovy drake's tale feathers will start to curve up as they are starting to feather out, but im not a 100% sure, this is the first time i have ever hatched muscovy's, my neighbor gave me a trio for giving him a ride to buy more chickens lol, he said they werent laying, but as soon as i got them they started laying like crazy
I live in Derby Kansas do you think its too hot to ship? and how much would shipping cost? My neighbor's have Muscovy's and they we're supposed to have some ducklings this year but she won't even sit on her eggs and he doesn't even try to incubate them.
yea i would like to ship if it was cooler, but with it being as hot as it has been i just cannot take the risk, if it cools off in the next week or two i may start shipping, it just depends on mother nature lol, i will let you know if i decide to ship
thankyou.
do you know how much a cheap incubater would cost that would still actually work? lol Next year I wanna try hatching some of their duck eggs.
actually i have found out the cheapest and best to work would be homemade ones, i built a homemade one from miss prissy's plans and i am averaging an 80% hatching rate, it cost approx. 20-30 dolalrs to make! you should try it
