Week old turkey poults with swollen vents, white/bloody discharge - what's wrong?

Hello! Our 10 BBW & BBB poults came last Wednesday (week and a half ago). They've been doing GREAT until now..... I found 2 poults huddled in the corner today. I checked them over and they both have swollen vents with white discharge and a bit of blood. One seemed to have diarrhea while I was examining it. They're on medicated turkey feed. It doesn't look like a picking injury, but like it's coming from inside. Is this cocci already?

I immediately separated 3 poults that had vent issues and started everyone on Corid just in case it's cocci. They're acting fine - eating and running around. The appearance of their vents have now become just poopy with some white. One is still swollen.

I guess I'll keep them on 5 days of Corid and see where we are then.

Oh dear! That isn't good! I have several poults that will come up behind the other poults and start pecking their bottoms. It could be they are bored and are pecking each other for something to do, then once the poult starts to bleed they peck it even more because it's red.

Thank you, Aspen! Believe it or not, the 3 are growing and doing just fine. This is day four of Corid and their behinds are still nasty, but taking on more of a "pasty butt" appearance. Tomorrow I'm going to clean up their bottoms and see how they do for a few days after treatment. I'm pretty hesitant to put them in the others in case it's something else, though.

Update on these turkeys: I did the 5 days of corid and then put them in with the others, even though they still kind of looked nasty. They are now 12 weeks old and getting HUGE! We only lost one of the 10 poults we purchased, and that was from something unrelated. Whatever the problem was, it seemed to have worked itself out, or was cocci and the medicine took care of it.
