Back when they started in the computer age, I want to say the 90's to early 2000's when stupid emoji's really took off, think incredimail as one place for spammy garbage emoji's. People were doing ascii art essentially before that, then they got the idea, lets do the smileys so they translated into the little cartooney things you see today. They became extremely popular, and of course people wanted tons more, think idiot kids who want to talk to each other using nothing but emoji's instead of oh I don't know, actually learning a proper language..... Next came naming them, because there were literally 100's if not 1000's of them, once they became animated gifs Naming them, let server op's pick the ones they want on their forum, ie I'll put 25 on, instead of having 600 available and when your members say I want the vomit emoji, and you see 35 of them, they can say, the spittle goblin one, and you know which one tickles their fancy.
AOL was helpful in this wave of emoji speak as well, and as you can see, the brain damage stuck to this day.

Surprised there are not more chicken tardmoji's or at least not being brought up here.

Afterall, chickens been around a while and are universal. Calling someone a chicken goes back decades as well.

Whomever runs the forum, maybe search the ED (Emoji Database) and see if there are any clucker related mogeez to put up?
