weird acting chicks help!!

How old are these chicks? I responded a couple days ago to a post asking if the chicks needed heat after being picked up from TSC. Turned out the chicks were already over a month old but the OP didn't bother to tell us that.. It's very important when asking and giving advice to state how old the chicks are since heat needs vary drastically from day one to five weeks.

I work at TSC, so here's my theory.. When we first get the babies in, they're pretty worn out and can be a little "out of it." They just travelled across the country in a cramped box full of 100 chicks divided into 4 sections. They're dehydrated and hungry, so if you got them the same day they came in, it doesn't surprise me at all they're acting like that. Just keep and eye on them and make sure they're drinking and have their electrolytes in the water.

X2 on this.
