Yesterday was day 5 in incubating white Leghorn eggs. I decided to candle them (mostly because I couldn't wait to see how many were fertilized! Lol). But one of the eggs is quite different than the others. The blood vessels are only covering maybe 3/4th's of the egg inside and there's a dark spot that almost looks like a embryo but it seems pretty developed for only 5 days, or maybe it's just where it's pressed against the inside of the shell. The air cell is also off to the side and not perfectly round. Any idea what could be going on?
