Weird beak

I'm new here and got my first chicks yesterday.

I love them!

However this little fellah has a weird beak.

Will he be okay?

Does he have nostrils on both sides?

It looks like just part of him to me, possible a genetic flaw - just keep watch on it, Silkies can have all kinds of nooks and crannies, so try to keep it cleared of feed/debris and see how it goes.

If he is eating/drinking, active and acting like a normal little chick, just leave it be. He's a cutie pie

Yes he acts normal and plays / eat / drink / sleep / poop.

I'll watch over him! Happy to hear it's not that bad. He does have small holes to breathe on the sides.
