Weird bug on chicken

Anyone know what kind of bug this is.it almost looks like a weird tick. Found about 20 or so on one of my laying hens. All the hens (6) haven't laid a single egg in about 2-3 days. They seem completely healthy. Just held one of them and found this. Any help is appreciated!!

Dust all your birds with Permethrin dust. Remove bedding and nesting material from inside the coop and dispose of it. Clean the coop as best as you can and either dust it with Permethrin dust or use Permethrin 10% liquid concentrate and spray inside the coop. Mixture instructions are attached to the container.
The liquid concentrate has a 28 day residual.
Redust your birds in 10-14 days to kill nits hatched from eggs.
Eggs are attached to the base of feather shafts particularly around the vent area. Coconut oil will remove them.
