i guess i also do not see much of an issue with this. an animal that could attack with malice towards its owner or another person is a huge liability no matter the size. though i do think there is some needed explanation of what he may be planning on doing with the body or hides but he may be leaving that up to those that inquire.

in the case of dogs, cats, or horses it is probably because there are vet records on such animals and the medicines used on them cannot and should not be ingested by humans through the eating of their meat.

Because he doesn't want anybody getting his potential business.
Here in my area of TX on CL people will flag your eggs all day long if you are in their area and your's are the same price or a little cheaper.

So when I used to sell them I got around that by putting "fertilized eggs" they couldn't flag me then. But now I just sell them to our free-range meat market.

Very few yotes here, and there are always ads on CL for hunting areas. Private land here is almost a no deal to gain access for hunting. Trapping is a lost art here, very few do it in this area.

It sounds weird to me because he's not saying hes a butcher or mobile slughterer (We have one around here - comes to your place and does the killing, skiniing and gutting, then you take the rest to the local butcher or you do the cuts - We refer to him good naturedly as "the killer". lol)

What strikes me is his appeal to those with unruly livestock - as if those with unruly livestock are unaware that thier problem animals are eligible for slaughter. Odd, to me.

Also, it seems like thier is a vague implication that the animal might be taken elsewhere for the deed - also strange. The guy who slaughters around here does it all at your home. You get to see the whole process if you want to.

The whole ad seems pretty fishy - its worded like he's offering a novel service, when in fact it is well known that there are butchers and slughterhouses.

Its very big around here to grab up animals for re-sell. Free CL ads are the starting point.

With the economy bad I do figure the person could be scoring some freezer fillings. Again, not one issue with that.

I still have a small axe to grind knowing folks buy animals and loose interest or wont care for them......
