Well I see nothing wrong with someone wanting free meat and sometimes you can work with him to see if he would go half with you if you got a mean pig or cow, I am sure he would do most of the work for you.

It's odd, but we're all making assumptions here. We don't know if he passes all the legal requirements for whatever he is advertising for because he doesn't mention exactly why he wants these animals. One can always ask him if they're interested. He does mention that he will slaughter the animal on the property, so I don't think he's trying to hide anything from the animals' owners. I'm betting he's a butcher or meat processor trying to make a buck and get some free meat, too.

ETA: Some butchers and processors do come to people's homes/properties to slaughter their animals.

I think he is talking about coyotes, bobcats and such. And does not want to put that in the ad. You know some people still sell pelts.

I do not see how this will make people mad and think it is not legal. If you have pigs and you don't want pigs anymore send them to him and he will butcher them.
