We have been treating for coccidia and one of the two birds below was taken to the vet and confirmed intense coccidia in the flock. Her and her sister both have this weird eye thing going on. Huge pupils and a crescent moon in the front. Does anyone know what this could be?

The crescent moon tissue looks like conjunctiva which may be inflamed when there is a respiratory disease, such as mycoplasma. You can flush eyes with saline eye wash, and apply Terramycin eye ointment twice a day. If you see gasping, nasal drainage, swallowing of mucus in the throat, or head shaking, you could start an antibiotic such as Tylan or Tylosin. It is hard to see any colored iris in the eyes. Do you see any color? A close up may be needed.

Thank you. Everything I read said respiratory but I’ve been watching closely for a week and there’s no other signs of respiratory :/ and no I see no color but these ones do have generally darker eyes
