Because we all love duckling poop soooo much I figured I'd get a lot of information by asking instead of just wondering. Some of my almost 3 week old ducklings poop rather funny or at least I think so.

As you can see from the picture I have normal poop and then sorta of milky whiteish water type poop. Is this normal? My Pekins never pooped like this when they were younger as far as I can remember. Any information would be very appreciated. :)

any change in their diet? sometimes new foods or diet changes can cause poop differences..

Nope still the same. They are still on the 50 lb bag of dumor chick starter I bought the day before they arrived. I'm surprised its lasted soo long. I give them mealworms as a treat but I've been doing that since they were a week old.

okay, I was just wondering because I know when I give my ducklings smashed bananas with applesauce their poop a little whiter than normal but not that white though. hmm...I have no idea. I hope someone can come along and help you though!

Ya its deff got me stumped and they all seem fine and are very well cared for. But I guess it could be anything. Thanks for the input though. If only that was the cause lol

Does the odd one smell significantly different? I have one runner who makes her own stuff, you could say.... at first I was concerned about an infection or birth defect, but apparently she is fine, just tends to have darker, runnier stuff. And sometimes especially after eating alot of snow, the ducks get some very watery pale poop.

I would just watch it, as I said if there is an odd aroma let us know. Ducks can get out of balance with their gut flora like we can. If you have or can get poultry vitamins with electrolytes and probiotics, that might be a good idea.

No there isn't a funny smell. Just smells like regular poop. I'm giving them electrolytes right now.

Not sure about the b12. Electrolytes are excellent for them especially as their growing, sickness, and anytime there are changes that could stress them its a extra boost for their systems nutri drench and the sav a chic electro and probiotic packets are all good vitamins.
