Weird egg issue

Hey, so my biggest hen, a jersey giant, who has been laying for a year or two now, just layed this weird, long giant egg. I think it is because of the fertilizer that our neighbor put in our yard (its happened before)... It's just nitrogen, but do you all know if this is dangerous for the hen to lay/me to eat? Note: all the mutated eggs are double yolkers

No, but this is a lot what it looked like.

That's a perfectly fine egg if your's looks like that one in the pic. It's just the bloom (protective covering on the shell).
It's much longer and larger than her usual ones, and it doesn't actually have the different shades, exept that it has speckles, which my girl's usual one doesn't.
