Weird Egg?

We found this egg in the coop.

It was soft but because of laying under the sun, it dried out and now is hard. Feels very rough, like a rock?

Upon cutting, it only had ehh white and a red spot.

Probably just a glitch in your hens system. May not happen again. Sometimes young pullets can do this untill they regulate their laying system. You could try adding oyster shell grit to her diet. A small dish on the side should work so she can help herself as needed.
